A home for the Bluebells

Today I met Chris and his hard working team of volunteers at Mabley Green. They have been working hard over the last year to improve a scruffy corner of Hackney Wick, bringing a wildflower meadow to this green space below the flyover taking traffic over the River Lea towards the Olympic Site.

My 100 or so pots of Bluebells need a permanent home after I finish with them and I am delighted to collaborate with the Mabley Green Community Meadow project. The Bluebells will be planted out after they have reached their flowering peak in early May.

It was definitely Spring today, my installation gets a little closer to being realised.
